Exercise Programmes for Injured Workers
To achieve a quicker, safer and more cost effective return to work following injury, Worklink Exercise Services offer individualised increased capacity programmes. Any injured worker that has an injury to the musco-skeletal system, or psychological condition (including stress, depression and anxiety), are appropriate for an increased capacity programme.
Increased capacity programmes are exercise based rehabilitation programmes designed specifically to improve the capacity of an injured worker to return to work and/or upgrade their duties following an injury sustained in the workplace.
Increased capacity programmes focus on the work-related injury, overall functional capacity, and general re-conditioning of the body. The aim of each programme is to increase an injured worker's physical tolerance to achieve a return to work. All workers complete an initial exercise assessment to determine the modality of treatment. The following programmes are available:
