Worklink’s outplacement service is designed for injured workers who are unable to return to their pre-injury employment occupations. Outplacement services are not restricted to workers’ compensation recipients. Worklink also provides placement services to retrenched employees.
Services include: vocational assessment and counselling, work trial location, job preparation and job placement. To achieve a positive employment outcome, injured workers must be thoroughly assessed. This will enable them to be matched to a specific job through attention to vocational interests, transferable skills, aptitude, psychological profile, and training needs.
Labour market research is always undertaken to confirm that job opportunities exist within the occupations recommended through the assessment process. Work trials are located using our extensive employer database / employer bank. Worklink's employer bank is used in conjunction with individual job search in order to rapidly locate new employment.
